This is my first time to this golf resort. Unfortunately, there is good and bad to report.We were on a semi inclusive deal.|Checking into the appt was painless as there was 11 of us.Rooms where very clean and spacious,2 bedrooms,each with there own doors for privacy if you need it and showers,small kitchen and living area and tv.Cleaned every day for the 7 days we where there.|Breakfast //evening meals unfortunately was not good,we had to go to the main hotel for it,when i got there I felt like I was going around the world to find the food.Only the chef food cooking in the corner was Irish /British standard hot,everything else was cold // lukewarm although there is a microwave in the corner also to reheat the food.Not enough varieties over the 7 days.|Staff in the hotel itself,especially the bars outside,will hopefully improve their manners,as the staff elsewhere were generally good.|Golf courses are very good,restaurant and bar are also recommended.You can leave your clubs in a locker for the week for a small charge,great idea for people around my age hauling them back and forward to the course.|Overall, I'm not sure if I'll be coming back as there doesn't look like there's much else to do apart for golfers.|The hotel itself is beautiful, and there is plenty of room for improvement.|Ps. |Watch out for the mosquitos.|

Too stuffy in restaurants and rooms. Aircon only sending either warm or fresh air. Central aircon not switched on in April. |Ants in room but staff quick to resolve . Nice rooms , comfortable. Ask for a kettle if you like a coffee in morning but take own coffee. |Little supermarket for water, milk snacks . |Restaurant has two sittings 7pm and 8pm v busy . Buffet style . Food not bad but queue for show cooking. Part all inclusive , drinks after 5pm . Wine ? on table . Service little slow. Quick to remove plates , little too quick . Soup v tasty . ||Busy with golfing groups , so I wouldn’t recommend for couples in golfing season . Lots of bugs about . Overall staff a bit distant and didn’t make any effort to dunk or look happy in their work . Good maid service .lots of people had issues with room keys , not working . Could do with a better system . Nice golfing facilities .

My second visit and has not changed from two years ago. | |My first recommendation is to get yourselves some insect repellent and anthisan spray or cream. ||I don’t know if it’s just this time of year that mosquitos are out for blood, but quite a few people did suffer from the bites. But none of this is down to the hotel.||We had superior rooms each and they are very good. The aircon hadn’t been switch on by the hotel yet. The mini bar stated on the web site is in fact an empty fridge as it was two years ago. No coffee or tea making facilities, but you can get a kettle from reception to use throughout your stay. There is a shop within the grounds about a five-minute walk at most from the front door which sells most holiday requirements. The rooms a cleaned daily so all good.||Restaurant is a typical buffet style. I wasn’t overly impressed, but that’s my own opinion. But the golf bar restaurant which is not part of the inclusive package do some good cooked to order food.||The inclusive package starts at 5.00 PM. Beer orders get reduced to half pints and you are unable to reorder until it’s a nearly empty glass. You will not be able to order a drink for someone who is not at the table. Plus, also note that the selection of drinks in the inclusive package is not the same quality as it was when paying.||Had no issues with the staff unlike some reviews. ||Overall, this hotel would not be classed a five-star hotel in the UK. But it suited our golfing group requirements. ||Two golf courses and I would recommend golf carts, especially as the temperatures start to get hotter. The courses (north & south) themselves are in excellent condition. I did seem strange not playing in wet conditions as we have been in the UK for the last five months.||Last point to note for a member of my group. ‘Keep your hat on’ next time the Full Monty gets played.

Stayed as part of a 16 strong mixed party from our Golf Club in March - 4 of us stayed on for an extra 3 nights.||Small glitch when we got a ground floor dark room facing away form the pool when all the rest of our party had pool view rooms, but the Hotel did us proud by moving us to a 2nd Floor Room overlooking the pool that got the sun all afternoon - much thanks for this. ||Not so good points:||Nowhere near enough sockets to plug devices into - more needed plus USB sockets.|Pillows were OK for me (just) but hard and unforgiving for my wife - nowadays a 5* Hotel really ought to have a pillow menu with soft feather pillows an option..|No Tea and Coffee making facilities - again, in a 5* Hotel you would expect a decent coffee maker at least. With plenty of coffee and not just loads of tea bags or decaffienated.|The towels were thin and rough - 2* quality at best. Please, this is a 5* hotel and there should be large fluffy towels, and plenty of them.||Good Points:||Decent sized room and nice bathroom - very nice Balcony with sunny aspect in the afternoons.|For a Buffet restaurant, the choice was pretty good, and there was always the cooking station for really freshly cooked. |Very Good breakfasts.|Bar service was really good - we were on semi all-inclusive and the bar tenders came round a lot so no waiting for a drink (thank you so much Pepe and Manuel).|The Golf Courses - both really good. Plenty of challenge and in beautiful wetland / marsh surroundings. Both in really good condition.|Nice walk to a very unspoilt village.|Nice looking pool area - not quite warm enough for us in March, though!||Finally, the staff. Always a key part of a Hotel and this was no exception. Thank you all especially Pepe, Manuel, Javier (in the restaurant) and Raoul.||Would we stay here again? Yes, in a group. It is perfectly set up for a group.

Hemo celebrado la comunión de nuestra hija este fin de semana y la satisfacción no ha podido ser mayor: excelente trato y atención, abundante y exquisita comida en la celebración, cuidado del detalle y un sitio fantástico. A destacar el trabajo de cocina, del equipo de camareros y monitores, así como de la responsable de eventos, Clara, que ha facilitado aquello que necesitábamos para que todo estuviese perfecto... para repetir

Despite a glitch on our arrival of the suit we had paid for not being available till the next day our stay was overall good. Food plentiful and varied, rooms clean,beds comfy and good linen and towels, quality bath and shower gels etc.Spa is fab…really enjoyed our hour in there and the massage we had as compensation for our suite not being available on arrival. Golf is great, 2 lovely courses, well kept and some challenging holes on both courses. Golf shop has good supply of men’s and women’s clothing and golf accessories. All staff at the resort were friendly and helpful. Unless you don’t want to venture from the resort I would recommend hiring a car to get about. Couple of little niggles…..very few electrical sockets in the rooms, had to unplug lights to be able to pug in chargers for phones. Also and prob the one that I was most unhappy about and that was no tea coffee making facilities in the room, I like to sit and wake up with a nice hot drink before I shower and head off for breakfast, not possible so that for me was a definite thumbs down. All in all though not a bad resort .

The hotel and golf was well organised, staff were lovely. ||We had seen some negative reviews and felt that these did not reflect the golf resort as we found it.||We stayed half board - the choice and quality of food at breakfast and in the evening was great, and as good as any buffet I have previously had. Obviously it’s not the same as eating a la carte but we knew that before we went and we did have overly high expectations- but we were pleasantly surprised. The waiting staff worked incredibly hard and were really pleasant. Special shout out to Manager “Grego” who worked tirelessly to make sure people were seated as soon as possible ?.||Also a shout out Pepe who worked in the bar, he was charming and funny and a real asset to the hotel.||The golf - we played the north course twice and the south course once. We really enjoyed it. Although some of the bunkers were so big it was nigh on impossible to avoid them . We were really glad that we hired buggies as there was quite a lot of walking between some of the holes. ||Although there were no spare tee times the spacing of them meant we certainly never had to wait.||Would I stay and play here again. yes.

The hotel did not change since 10 years ago, still premium materials used, but in need of small repairs. The indoor Pool needs attention and the wooden floor downstairs moves when walking on it. The buffet uses good ingredients, is a bit low on choice, but the preparation of the dishes needs attention, the cesar salad for instance is not balanced and that changes per day. Whoever makes the french fries should be fired for cooking them instead of frying. The first days the bacon was burned, the last days the guy did better, fried eggs still runny on top though. The staff at reception is very friendly, in the restaurant it differs, some extremely nice, some a bit grumpy ? The staff at the Spa is very friendly and service oriented. The golf reception is professional and very friendly, the courses are in prime condition and North is a nice challenge. So that explains the title, mixed feelings,its not bad, but with some minor improvements it would be perfect.
