Bridgeton House was an absolute dream! I couldn't be anymore amazed with my micro wedding and stay..I live in Texas and chose the Bridgeton House based off the reviews pictures and their availability to do small weddings. It was a blessing finding this place!! The property is beautiful, private and quiet. The views of the river and the bridge are perfect. We stayed in the boathouse which was gorgeous, we were met with breakfast in bed everyday. The food is homemade, I didn't have anything I didn't like.. For my wedding they offered flowers and cake. Everything came out even better than I had imagined. Thank you Bridgeton House we will be back for anniversaries!

We spent 3 relaxing nights here at Bridgeton House. My only regret is that it was our first visit! I read their diary and so many people are return guests....two couples that stayed this very weekend had met here and returned every year for the past 20 years! The staff is just darling and very helpful. The breakfasts were lovely and they put out coffee at 8:00. Being right on the Delaware was just so lovely and next to the bridge. The rooms and the entire inside of the main building was very classy and spotless. We can't wait to come back.

We just got back from our two night getaway. This was our first time here and we already booked our next visit for the end of December! We stayed in room 1 and it was perfect, next is the Garret room! What a quaint and beautiful place! The rooms were spotless, staff was amazing and the complimentary breakfast was probably the most delicious meals we had during our stay! This place is truly a gem and the views are spectacular! Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

From the contactless check-in & micro-terry bathrobes to the delicious breakfasts & peaceful atmosphere Bridgeton House has thought of every last detail and truly caters to a romantic, relaxing stay for their guests! We booked the beautiful Garrett room for our 29th Wedding Anniversary. The balcony offered a spectacular view! The trees perfectly reflecting their fall colors in the water and the morning mist rising off the Delaware River in the early morning was a perfect way to start the day. We rented bikes to check out the D&L trail which is just across the street. Great service through Delaware River Pedal & Paddle Rentals recommended by Bridgeton House. I would highly recommend this activity the trail is well-maintained with beautiful country views. We also enjoyed walking across the bridge to Milford, NJ for dinner at the Canal House Station and also checked out the little shops. We truly enjoyed The Garrett Room. It was so well-appointed with everything you could possibly need and above & beyond offerings. Many thanks the staff at Bridgeton House for a lovely, memorable experience!!!

My husband and I recently stayed at the inn for a little weekend getaway and absolutely loved it. The room was so cute and clean as well as the inn itself. We received complimentary breakfast every morning and it was delicious. I loved how much detail they put into everything. That’s what makes places like this so great.
I also left something in the room after checkout and realized when I got home. The staff were nice enough to check and also mail me the item.
I would definitely recommend this place to everyone!

We stayed in the Delaware Suite, which was absolutely perfect. There was a spacious screened-in porch overlooking the Delaware and the Upper Black Eddy-Milford Bridge. We opted for a catered dinner which was delicious with lots of great food and the same went for breakfast which we ate on the porch. Service was outstanding but still gave you the privacy you needed. The location was scenic but within a reasonable drive from Philadelphia/Delaware County. It's also within 20 minutes of New Hope which made for a nice visit while there.

We recently had the pleasure of having our small wedding and stayed at Bridgeton House, and I can't say enough good things.

The location is perfect—with beautiful views and relaxing vibe. Our rooms had everything we could possibly need. The beds were extremely comfortable. Our hosts were warm and attentive. Each morning, we were treated to delicious homemade breakfasts.

Overall, our stay and wedding was exceptional. It’s a perfect getaway for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with all the comforts of home. Thank you!
