The Spanish House - La Casita - San Miguel de Salinas, Alicante

My wife and I stayed at The Spanish House for a week in May. We had a fantastic stay. The location is excellent, and the apartment clean, comfortable, functional and had everything we needed. We spent time at the apartment around the pool which is stunning, very quiet and peaceful. Shops, bars and restaurants are within walking distance and the beach a 10 minute drive. Lots of local culture and history to see if you desire, all within a reasonable distance. We highly recommend the Pink Salt Lakes of Torrevieja and the breath taking Roman Amphitheatre at Cartagena. Communication with the host was excellent and the information sent before arrival was really helpful. My wife and her friends are returning in July and we will be returning again before the end of the year. Cannot recommend The Spanish House enough, a pleasurable and memorable stay.

We have not long got back from a beautiful stay at The Spanish House & we are already planning out next trip. We had such a wonderful stay, it's in a great location that's both quiet and in walking distance to various amenities.

The Spanish House itself is decorated beautifully, and was everything that we needed to enjoy a little time away in the sunshine.

We would highly recommend and we look forward to returning later in the year!

Myself and 3 friends just returned from the Spanish house. We are already missing the place. We stayed for a week and had a wonderful stay. The weather was gorgeous for relaxing by the pool. The complex is really lovely. The apartment was perfect for relaxing and a real home from home with everything you need. Very clean with aircon. The beds were really comfy and even had a wine fridge. Fab hot shower. The location is ideal for the beach and the local eating Plaza with many restaurants to choose from. It's about a 15-minute walk. I would recommend hiring a car as the taxi services are infrequent. On Saturday we went to the market, which was huge. Bargins galore. The leaflet the host gave us was really helpful. Can't wait to go back!

Perfect for relaxing holiday. Comfortable bed and sofa bed. Excellent communication with host. Lovely patio area for al fresco dining. Quality shower and cooking facilities. Washing machine and wine cooler! Will definitely return.

Just came back from a few days at La Cassita. What a fantastic little place this is. The setting on top of the hill is wonderful, so quiet and peaceful. The pool is literally a few steps away and very relaxing. The appartement itself is very comfortable and although it was hot outside as we could open the bedroom window and the lounge window at the front we had a lovely through breeze and we didn’t need to use the air conditioning. The bed was really comfortable and we really appreciated the lovely linen duvet cover. All the windows have mesh on them so that no mozzies can come in. We used the local restaurants a few times but mostly we enjoyed going to the supermarket and have our meals on the lovely terrace enjoying the views. We also enjoyed going for walks in what is called the Campo, which is a bit like a nature reserve, at the back of the property. Would we go back? Absolutely, we came away feeling like we really had a very restful time away. Well done Laura for having created such a lovely little heaven.

Beautiful property in an excellent location. The host was very helpful and the place was kept immaculately. A very well maintained community pool right next to the house with stunning views at the back of the property overlooking the mountains. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, looking forward to visiting again.

Great accommodation in an ideal location for local shops, bars and restaurants. Loved it so much I have already stayed twice this year and will be returning! The apartment is nicely decorated throughout and host is extremely friendly and helpful. Thank you a wonderful stay!

Just spent a week at the Spanish House. Extreme R&R, wonderful surroundings and all areas catered for. Will definitely return next year ?
