One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast buffet. Although I didn't initially have high expectations, I was pleasantly surprised by the variety and quality of the food offered. From healthy options to indulgent delicacies, breakfast catered to all tastes and appetites.

In summary, while the Oasis Hotel did not reach the level of luxury I expected, it offers a comfortable and convenient stay at a reasonable price. With a strategic location and friendly staff, it is a decent option for those looking to explore the city without spending a fortune on accommodation.

ADVICE FOR FEMALE TRAVELERS CHOOSING THE MIXED BEDROOM:

While other staff members have been super helpful, my partner and I had an interaction that overshadowed everything.

We reported to the receptionist that the night before there was an incident with the guest next to my bed “helping himself”, while knowing I was awake, situation that disturbed me and my sleep. Of course, nothing could be done anymore but I decided to let them know about the incident in order to maintain a safe space for everyone, as the guest continued his stay and other girls stayed in the room.

Some of the questions/comments that I received from the receptionist during our conversation:

-Are you sure this happened?
-Why didn’t you go to the reception at that moment?
-Maybe he got excited because he knew you were awake.
-This has happened before here.

As a conclusion, he offered me a future discount and a coffee, which doesn’t solve anything but the approach from the staff left me with a bad taste in my mouth since I don’t think the problem was treated or any apology was expressed towards me. Far from making me feel safe to come back or have another experience in a hostel, his interaction made me understand the perpetuation of this kind of attitudes to continue in that environment.

This was my first experience in a hostel, and beside this review, an advise for female travelers rewarding my interaction is to book a female room that are also available but where unknown for me at the moment of booking here.

I can honestly recommend this hostel! Very close to the subway station and bus stop. The rooms are clean and neat. The mattress very comfortable unfortunately the pillow is not.
Great service!!! Employees are very open and friendly people, next time I will be happy to return to the same place. Big plus for wifi working in every place like: hostel, bar and garden. The only thing I can complain about is the lack of proper breakfast but you can always find something in the neighbourhood

The receptionist was very kind and helpful. The rooms were clean. The locker is only good for cabin luggage. They sell padlock. The shared washroom was nice with 2 showers. 8-minute walk to long-distance train station. Convenient location if you are using long-distance train.

I stayed 1 night in a 10-bed dorm. The first impression or the place is awesome - great boutique style with garden and cafe. Unfortunately, there are no courtains and in front of the building some construction activity woke me up around 7am despite ear plugs. Other than this, would recommend if you are in a budget

Really disappointed by our stay in The Venue Hostel :
- Showers: minuscule and without any privacy. Both men and women share 2 showers for the whole floor, which are located in a restroom where anyone can come to. And shower cabins only have a curtain...
- Lockers: would have liked to put my hiking backpack in it, but were too small
- Bunk beds: comfortable, but without privacy (would be perfect with curtains)
- Dorm's door: the locking system is making an horrible noise every time someone passes their card in front of it. Has the potential to wake you up multiple times per night.
- Location: close to the Joaquin Sorolla's train station which is good, but not ideally situated. Thankfully, the public transport in Valencia is top-notch

Nevertheless, it had some good assets. The staff was friendly, and the courtyard really pleasing thanks to the sweet weather of May.

Unfortunately, if I come back to Valencia, I'd chose another hostel

I can totally recommend the Hostel. It was a perfect choose for 4 nights, if somebody fosent expect a 5star hotel. The service is really kind and helpfull and the terrace is an amazing opportunity to eat breakfest and meet up with new people. The only thing whats I was missing is a kitchen. It would have been nice to have a fridge or a microvave.
Thank you for the time!
