I really liked this hotel - nice rooms and staff but was surprised when I was on the roof top terrace that a single woman was asked to move to accommodate a larger group. They could have settled around her but staff directed her to another table. She left soon after.
I don't know if this is the hotel culture or perhaps a larger picture of discrimination in Spain, but I don't personally find it acceptable.

I made a reservation at Blanq Carmen Hotel two months ago for my daughter and her two friends who were studying abroad. Throughout the booking process, there were multiple emails exchanged, clearly stating that there would be three occupants in the room. However, just after the non-refundable date had passed, I received an email from the hotel stating that the room could only accommodate two people. This was incredibly frustrating and disappointing, especially considering the timing of the situation – it was only for one night to help them settle in before starting college the next day.

The fact that the hotel waited until after the non-refundable date to inform me of this issue, leaving me with no option but to book another room, reflects very poorly on their customer service. It's unacceptable to inconvenience customers in this manner, especially when it could have been easily resolved with better communication earlier on.

Overall, my experience with Blanq Carmen Hotel was extremely disappointing, and I would caution others to double-check all details and confirmations with the hotel, as their communication and handling of reservations leave much to be desired. Found a new hotel down the street and they were more than accommodating.

Very nice hotel, clean room! Very quite and close to the city centre. Gorgeous rooftop bar. Very pleasant receptionists 🙂 breakfast for 9 euro, small, delicious buffet with good coffee!

We stayed with a large group and they have been very understanding, flexible and friendly in communication.

Very clean, nicely designed interior, delicious breakfast!! Good price and amazing views.

Muy lindo hotel, de habitaciones amplias, con todas las comodidades. Además cuenta con terraza en la cual se puede degustar ricos tragos y contemplar Valencia desde la altura. Muy bien ubicado cerca del centro y casco histórico de la ciudad así como de acceso a paradas de transporte público.

Me gustó mucho el Hotel, está situado muy céntrico en la parte antigua de Valencia con la Catedral, museos, Iglesias, etc para visitar muy cerca. Todo estaba muy limpio el buffet de desayuno muy completo y muy buena relación calidad/precio. El personal fue profesional, cercano y amable en especial a la chica que nos hizo el C/I ( no me acuerdo de su nombre) y a Manuel que nos hizo el C,/O los cuales nos informaron muy bien sobre el Hotel y Valencia. También la persona que estaba a cargo del desayuno el 10 y el 12 que nos hizo sentir como en casa. El bar roof terraza nos gustó mucho, muy buen ambiente y buena música. Si vuelvo a Valencia volveré a Blanq Carmen sin ninguna duda. Gracias a todos por hacer mi estancia tan agradable.

Un hotel más que correcto por el precio que tienen y su ubicación.
Con una estética moderna y limpio, y con muy buen trato por parte de las chicas de recepción (nos recomendaron un muy buen restaurante para cenar).
Si volvemos a Valencia, seguramente será en este hotel.
