Sin duda el mejor lugar para desconectar y disfrutar del Valle de Lecrín. El restaurante increíble y las suites preciosas, cuidadas al detalle. Nuestra estancia fue inmejorable!

Nos alojamos en la suite Afrodita, que se ubica en el piso superior y nos sorprendieron las impresionantes vistas del valle y el lago. La luz del amanecer bañando la habitación a través de los grandes arcos es toda una experiencia, simplemente espectacular.

También disfrutamos del restaurante, una experiencia única. Los platos exquisitos y el servicio excelente. Elegimos el menú degustación de 12 platos y fue todo un acierto. Cada plato, maridado a la perfección con vinos de distintos rincones de España, fue una explosión de sabores que nos mantuvo expectantes toda la cena. Además contaron con un violinista que contagió de energía a los comensales y el restaurante se llenó de vida.

A destacar el gran equipo. Desde el momento que pisamos el lugar siempre estuvimos atendidos por increíbles profesionales. Nos hicieron sentir en una nube, estando siempre atentos a nuestras necesidades.

My experience at Hotel Restaurant Elysium was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the friendly and attentive staff!

The rooms were beautifully designed, spacious, and spotlessly clean, offering a perfect balance of luxury and coziness. The beds were incredibly comfortable!

The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, with a menu that showcased fresh, high-quality ingredients and creative flavors. The ambiance was elegant yet inviting, making it the perfect place to enjoy a memorable dining experience.

The overall atmosphere of the hotel was peaceful and refined, making it an ideal retreat for relaxation. Whether you’re visiting for business or leisure, Hotel Restaurant Elysium is a true gem that exceeds expectations. I highly recommend it and look forward to returning!

We had a truly memorable and fun evening and you made us feel so welcome in such a natural, sincere and genuine manner. The food was magnificent especially the innocuous looking fried egg on a plate....camouflaging the jewels underneath of perfect ravioli stuffed with the most divine local prawns. The ambience and architecture of this most sympathetically restored wonderful house overlooking the beautiful Lecrin Valley is something to behold. Compliments are not enough to praise the chef and staff!

My husband and myself went for dinner hoping we had stumbled upon a gem. Wow, wow and wow, you will not be disappointed, from the moment we stepped in the door we were impressed. We were greeted by Jasmijn, the perfect hostess and upon entering the restaurant Chef Michael also welcomed us, both with beaming smiles. This couple love what they do, the passion they have was a joy to experience. The food was some of the best I have ever had the pleasure in eating. Thank you for a wonderful evening, we look forward to returning.

We went to dinner on their opening night with two friends. The food was absolutely incredible, to have a restaurant like this in the Valley is amazing. Each course was a revelation, beautifully created with taste and flavour to match.

Last weekend we were lucky enough not only to have had an unforgettable meal at the Elysium but to enjoy the comfort of a lovely room….and a fabulous breakfast!!!
Both the host and chef Michael and the unique hostess Jasmijn made us feel truly at home! It was the first time I had stayed at a hotel & wanted to send a thank you note…so this is it Michael & Jasmijn.
Walking to the lake was a very pleasant thing to do. The village has interesting corners, like the old “washing area” and the church.
Really looking forwards to repeat the experience when my daughter comes to stay…..

What has been on my mind for the last week is the opening night of the Valley's first fine dining restaurant here in Melegis.
Elysium is the brainchild of acclaimed American chef Michael Sandoval and his partner Jasmijn Saft, a hospitality specialist with international experience. I have known them since they first came to the valley and have seen them buy and work tirelessly to change a large characterful village house into their dream. Elyseum now has five luxury apartments for rent and the old cellar/bodega is the intimate restaurant where you can spend the evening sampling Michael’s unique dining experience attended by professional staff. We were lucky enough to be at the inauguration meal and what a night it was. It’s been a long time coming but now Elyseum is open and ideal for that special dinner. Thoroughly recommended, well done Michal and Jasmijn.
