Stayed here 2 nights as part of a week's walking holiday - wish I could have stayed longer. The hotel was characterful and sited in an excellent position, Ate breakfast and meals on the riverside terrace- absolutely gorgeous. Swimming pool divine after a hot, dusty walk. My room remained nice and cool and was comfy - nothing fancy but suited me fine. Enjoyed lovely food and wine, and Philip and Susie were friendly and helpful. I plan to return.

Andalusia October-November 2022||We (6) found this hotel as another place in Ronda double booked us for our trip. |Susan was so helpful in facilitating us at zero hour notice. |On arrival she was there to greet us accompanied by her husband Phillip who himself is a proper gentleman. ||We were to stay in the area for 2 days but decided to stay a little longer. ||A Lovely building over 200 years old - it was an old mill for the village and some of the old mill stones can be seen throughout the property. ||Clean rooms - comfortable beds and a brilliant shower !! ||We will be back again !!

Came across this quaint hotel just outside Ronda. Friendly hosts in an ideal location for hiking. Many trails here and host Philip very keen to recommend and even join hikes. Rooms adequate, hot water, air conditioning. Breakfast tasty with choice. Great value for money! Will return.

I stoped here for a cold drink on the terrace earlier in the year whilst out walking, & vowed to return. I wasn’t disappointed! I spent 2 nights as the only guest in a beautiful big room, with views of the courtyard, mountains & ancient fig tree. During the day I lazed, reading by the pool as it was during a heatwave & I just wanted to relax, surrounded by nature. The terrace by the river was perfect for my evening G&T, accompanied by the sound of the water. A lovely continental breakfast was provided each morning, & I’m the evenings, I went to Molino del Santo & Venta Justino, both good. Phillip & Susan were delightful hosts & I left feeling thoroughly relaxed.

I stayed here solo traveling for a relaxing and had the most wonderful time - Philip the owner met me at the bus stop in Ronda and had very helpful tips re walks in the area & even posted something back to me after I'd accidentally left it behind in the hotel. Amazing hospitality and such friendly hosts. |The hotel itself was very comfortable with everything I needed. The pool was in a stunning setting and so nice just to relax and lounge next to on very hot afternoons. Do take a jumper as it can get chilly in mornings and evenings.|I managed it fine without a car due to the lifts to the bus station which was most appreciated, and there is a fab restaurant opposite the hotel for lunches.|Nearby were wonderful walks in the national park, even easy ones I could do easily & the waterfall pool and cave nearby was stunning. A most memorable trip - I will definitely be returning!

Hotel Molino Cuatro Paradas was the first of five hotels/hostals we stayed while walking a section of the Gran Senda de Malaga (Ronda to Casares) in June 2021. We arrived very hot and tired after walking in 30+ degrees and carrying our packs but Philip and Suzanne provided a very warm welcome and our first floor room was clean and cool with views over the river. ||||Rural tourism has been very badly hit by Covid and although the hotel was not really open during the week, Philip kindly allowed us to stay to facilitate our linear walk. We were the only guests and much too tired to walk back up into the village to find food. Philip rustled up a meal for us while we sat on their amazing terrace and watched an incredible variety of wildlife - half a dozen wild boar drinking in the river, ibex and vultures on the mountain tops, lazy barbels slowly moving up river and lots of birds.||||The next morning before we headed off, we walked 10 minutes up river to El Cueva de Gato which looks a lovely spot to spend the day with a picnic. We would love to visit again when we have time to relax, explore the local area and bring some binoculars.

Was quite surprised with our stay. We arrived on a very wet day after cycling from El Burgo. First impressions were good as location is very nice. I suspect on a dry or even a sunny normal day all would have been fine. Rooms were OK but no real way of heating the bedroom as Air Con didn't work in heat mode. We got very wet walking from upstairs room to dining room/bar. Big disappointment was really lack of a fire, (no kindling / don't care) in dining area. I accept conditions were exceptional but that is when the service part of hospitality comes in. WiFi also didn't work, not that fussed but maybe symptomatic of attitude. Evening meal was very good, although had to dress up in warm clothing due to lack of fire. Breakfast OK.
