I genuinely don’t know how this place has such good reviews. I have never stayed in a more disgusting or run down room. Nothing was clean, the smell was AWFUL (musty and stale cigarette smell in an apparently non-smoking room) to the point where it was making us nauseous. I’m not sure what the $20 cleaning fee that’s tacked on at check in is for, but it sure isn’t cleaning. The guy working was friendly but I did find it odd that when we asked him to come spray Lysol or air freshener or literally anything to try to help the stench that he stated “this is the cleanest pet friendly room that I have”, like okay are you implying that the other rooms are WORSE?! Not sure that’s possible to be honest, but maybe the non-pet rooms are better? I unfortunately doubt it though. We ended up putting all of our stuff back in the car due to fear that if left in the room everything would reek by morning. The random hole in the bathroom ceiling, shower curtain that was so dingy I was scared to touch it, the penis drawn in the dust on the mirror, and the fire alarm being clearly ripped out were just the icing on top. Would absolutely not recommend, you’re better off driving a little bit more and staying in Columbia. We always prefer to support local businesses when traveling but unfortunately this one needs to be avoided (and probably condemned).

CLEAN and smelled very nice(Papaya). Owners are amazing! The rooms are nice sized. Very Clean. Did not see any bugs or signs of bugs(unlike Jefferson City).
It is just a sweat lil place off the interstate❤️

BUT if you are traveling west...stop in here before you hit Jefferson City. Jefferson City is infested with ...ill call it it issues.

Wonderfully nice owner/manager! However, the place needs a really good cleaning, a coat of paint and new carpet. As long as you use the sound machine, you can pretty much drown out the traffic and the train.

Older but clean, clean, clean. I just drove across the country and this was by far where I rested the best. Clean and comfortable. Granted it's a motel not a Marriott but I slept better than the previous night....at a Marriott.

I will absolutely stay here again. The value for cost is fantastic. It’s family run, and they were so welcoming and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed. Everything was clean and cozy. Very nice hot water and comfortable bedding after a long day. The AC and other appliances worked great.

Be aware of the location—being right near the highway, there are highway sounds. Personally, I sleep with white noise and I slept soundly for my stay.

Great spot, super clean, very quiet, large back yard to play with your kids and throw a ball for a dog. Great lighting at night to unpack the vehicle if you get in late, as we did. Front desk staff was very kind and gave us the heads up to grab food before getting here. Perfect spot to stop that’s safe, will stay again if we come out this way.
