SERIOUSLY THE WORST. If I could give it 0 stars honestly I would. Please take it from my friend and I don’t stay here.
1. They don’t answer their phones ever
2. We got back to our room and some random old man was sleeping in my bed. When we asked the guy working at the front he didn’t seem to see why this was a problem. Then proceeded to tell us that one of us now had to sleep in one room and the other in a different one. When we stressed how this wasn’t what we booked and the issue of NO DOORS THAT LOCK (including the front one which means people walk right off the street and into your bed) he finally decided to put us in a different room.
3. The place was SUPER DIRTY cockroach traps everywhere and a very unpleasant smell as well as the bathroom look like you’d catch a disease. And no toilet paper.
4. You aren’t allowed to leave anything in your room on the floor(they remove your stuff from the floor and you must PAY to get YOUR STUFF back) everything must be on your bed (shoes, suitcase etc.) as well as there are no lockers in the rooms only very small ones in a main area. Which my friend and I were shocked to find that after our second night there they had broken our locks and removed all of the contents including a Mac book and other valuables. THINGS ARE MISSING which no one seemed to care about
4. After explaining all of this and telling them that we no longer wanted to stay here and asked for a refund for the rest of the nights. The guy understood and agreed, we sat there for hours waiting for some “owner” to send an email confirming they would send us back the 328€ for the remaining 6 nights we had booked. No one has ever sent an email it has now been a week and they have gone silent. no response from anyone about anything they don’t answer their phones or emails. We want our money back!!!!!!

Also I have no idea how this is so highly rated on hostel world I think it must be a mistake.

I’d rather sleep on the street then sleep here

The system stinks!!!!!!

Reviews on Booking.com are not reliable.
- There's no ladders attached to the bunk bed, it's portable, so if the lower bunk traveller moved the step stool away by accident, you won't be able to get down from the upper bunk.
- Lots of areas still under renovation, female toilet quite dirty.
- Inappropriate sticker for one of the toilets (see pic).
- Water not warm enough for showers in winter. For summer, it's doable.
- Low quality bed and pillows, too thin and not comfortable.
- Loud and noisy, the backpackers I met here didn't seem to have respect for others, talking on the phone or watching YouTube without headphones at midnight, 3am and 6am. There's no signs to remind people to keep quiet either.
They sent me a link and some details to download an APP developed by a Chinese company, asking use that to unlock some doors but turned out I never needed it.
I left the hostel the next day, even if I booked it for 3 days; requesting a refund but they never replied.

I think the positive reviews are fake. The hostel was dirty and didn't have any soul to it. The setting and decoration was random and weird: walls covered with fake grass, big empty spaces, dirty and ripped carpets on the floors and a horrible smell throughout the hostel. Scared for the bed bugs. Sheets were not so clean: covered with hairs and stains. There was also little water coming from the shower. To many people crammed in a dorm: way to hot at night. Anyone could enter the hostel and the dorms, no security at all. Most of the people who stayed there were rude and disgusting: rasping, calling on speaker phone in the middle of the night and the early morning, speaking out loud at 4am. Also a lot of older men were staying in the hostel, not sure if it is a homeless shelter as well. If you're looking for a fun, clean and youthfull hostel with a nice welcoming space and atmosphere: don't come here. Only two positive things: guy behind the desk was friendly and the bed comes with curtains that could give you the privacy you need in a hostel like this.

I'm having one night here and I can't wait to leave. They make the guests mandatorily put their luggage inside the bed (literally on your bed!
I had to sleep with my 2 big luggages. Absolutely a misery and not healthy. Extremely low standards. I don't know how the authorities in Spain are allowing that to happen in such a beautiful city. The Spanish government should check them and impose some basic standards. They must be reported.

Please listen to the rest of the other negative reviews so that something changes with this hostel!! They charge you to store luggage bigger than a small day backpack. You’re not allowed to leave it in the room or a common area, unless you pay 5 euro. I’ve never seen that in any hostel, and I don’t see how this is an acceptable policy. They gave me four pillow cases instead of a sheet. The keycards for several rooms didn’t work and it was difficult to get into the room. I waited a long time for anyone to show up at reception. I do not recommend.

16-20 bed rooms aren't meant to be especially comfortable, they are a means to an end. However, these guys have decided that since you're *only* paying €30/night, that means all the other facilities are none existent and the place was clearly mashed together on a tight budget. Albeit bomber of this seems to be the fault of the staff, who have all been very nice.

They try to scam you out of €5/night if your bag is bigger than an envelope. Or you can put it in your tiny bed with you for maximum comfort!

Kitchen should not be labelled as such, it doesn't even have running water.

Doors are very difficult to unlock with the least useable locks with the option of card/code (they don't give you the code).

Screws keeping the bunk beds together are sticking out of the wood, safety first!

Terrible hostel. They provide nothing yet still charge a high amount for a room. No locks on the doors. No lockers in the bedrooms. They charge to leave stuff for an extra day. No plates, no cups, no laundry. No nothing. As far as I could tell this is the cheapest hostel in the city which doesn't leave us on a budget with much choice (don't get me wrong I still find this too expensive). But this is absolutely the worst hostel I've ever stayed in.

The rooms were fine, the rest of the hostel wasn't nice. 8t had a weird smell and strange interior design. Sometimes there was no one at the reception to open the door. All of this wouldn't have been so shocking though if on booking it didn't have a 9/10 raiting. When I gave a bad review (4/10) the hostel claimed that I didn't stay there, so my review was rejected!! Horrific, would never stay there again
