The location is the only thing that deserves ANY stars, to be quite honest. This is the main reason we chose this place. It was listed as the ONLY available location that was close to the State Park and had a pool advertised where we were spending the day with our family. The price was pretty much the same as a big hotel and we should've just traveled a bit further to find that. When we arrived we paid for our night and the lady at the front office was very nice. I came back right after and asked for more towels because although my prior reservation had said there would be 3 of us, we only had two towels. No Biggie, so I went back to the room to get the kids ready for the pool. We walk over and the pool is COMPLETELY empty! :-(.
We went back and fired up the A/C and tried to cool the room but the remote control wasn't working so we had to use a chair to climb up and change it to a reasonable temp. It took FOREVER! About an hour later my daughter comes outside to dump a cockroach out of the room that she found inside the bedroom. WHAT?!?!? No way!
We decided to stay because it was too late and I was afraid that there was no one in the main office. The air conditioner turned off in the middle of the night and the bed only had sheets and a blanket no thicker than a sheet on each bed. It was unbearable, but too late and already paid for so we stayed.
I mentioned all of this to the lady at the front office who was very nice, but said I should have told her about the cockroach that night so she could move us to another room. WHAT!?!? So we can meet the rest of the cockroach family? No thanks!
I will not ever be staying here again and I warn you so you don't make the same mistake. She could have at least offered me financial compensation, but she didn't. This is a ROACH-MOTEL...literally. Don't go!

We stayed at the Silver Princess on 9/26/24. I was very impressed with the customer service. The girl who answers the phone was extremely courteous and polite. The room was IMMACULATE. The bed was king size and very spacious and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this fine motel!

Driving by this place seemed like a typical mom & pop motel.
But upon turning in, it was obvious that this place was very clean and manicured, with a very clean pool.
The room was spotlessly clean, very comfortable bed, all the expected amenities, including a wall-mounted tv with very clear reception and many channels. The fridge and AC were very quiet.
Road noise was low and disappeared after 11 p.m.
Water quality was excellent with very good pressure.
The owners were both kind and helpful.
I rarely give 5 stars, but this place really impressed me.

Definitely it is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed it is budget but the amenities that comfort in the rooms incredible service it's location it's perfect if you're going to the world Equestrian Center you're about 20 minutes away but you have everything you need Supermarket gas stations you name it you probably have it and listen 10 minutes driving I ride across the street there's a race track which is great for early morning breakfast or late snacks it's definitely a great location definitely I will be back I cannot highly recommend enough this hotel can't wait to go back next year

But when I pulled in, it was obvious that this place was both clean and manicured with care, including really clean pool.|The owners were both kind and helpful.|The room was spotlessly clean, bed was very comfortable, it had all the expected amenities, tv mounted on the wall with great reception and many channels, fridge was really quiet, AC was also very quiet, road noise was low and disappeared after 11 p.m.|Water was good with excellent pressure.|I rarely give 5 stars, but this motel deserves it!||One suggestion: They give you ice at the desk, but it had a plastic-tray taste.|So, go across the street and get a bag of ice from Race-Trac, which also has a large variety of hot foods and drinks.
