We came here 5 yrs ago, and the food and service is as good as it was back then, possibly better as the desserts were also delicious. The only slight issue is finding the front entrance.

This place has lots of potential with parking on site and plenty of very pleasant gardens in which to sit. The food (carvery) is not bad at all and the desserts are pretty good, however it falls down really badly in other areas. Most notably the service is very poor, with much of our order taken down and delivered incorrectly as were cold teas and coffees.

Prices not too bad - €70 for 4 people for carvery, dessert and a drink each. Full marks to them for making an effort on British mother's day by providing everyone with an aperitif and a glass of cava - just a shame the service is so poor

Driving upto the property, it looks decrepit and abandoned with overgrown gardens, chairs strewn and dirty.
All doors shut with no directions to the entrance.
Reserved a table for Christmas lunch 25th December 2022 the food was far from good.
Will not be returning.

Came here for Sunday lunch. The place was complete and utter chaos. On arrival we were greeted by 10-15 children running riot, we could barely get up the stairs due to them all running up and down them and nearly knocking my heavily pregnant wife over. We had booked a table so were expecting one to be available for us inside but were told they were too busy inside. They said we could sit out the back on the patio which we didn't really want but had no other choice. When we went outside it was freezing cold, the only tables left were completely in the shade which is not great considering it is December! I had to go and get a second coat from the car for my wife to use a blanket. At this point if we hadn't had already ordered our drinks then we would have left. The drinks arrived quickly which was good but my glass was so dirty it was unusable. I ended up drinking out of my wifes glass and she drank her water out of the bottle. We were called up for the carvery and half of the food trays were empty so we didn't get hardly any veg (1 stem of broccoli and a few carrots), no mashed potatoes left at all either. The sauce dishes were also empty. We also had no cutlery so had to go and find someone to get this for us which was a challenge as none of the staff were wearing uniform. Hard to work out who worked there and who didn't. When we finished our food we waited around 25 mins for someone to come and take our plates. We were never asked if the food was ok, if we wanted any more drinks or if we wanted a dessert. We were completely forgotten about sat out the back. We kept waiting as we did actually want dessert and another drink but nobody came out for us to even ask. We got sick of waiting so went to the bar to pay our bill as we just wanted to get out of there so went elsewhere for some dessert. The bar staff didn't have a clue what we had had, we had to tell them. The only reason I am giving a 1 star is because the food we did have on the carvery was very nice, it's just a shame we didn't get to try all of it. We go out to different restaurants for a Sunday lunch nearly every week and would have came back if the experience was good but it was dreadful. The service was some of the worst I think I've ever had.

Five stars for the way Lewis looked after us. My wife & I are moving to Xabia (next town down the road) very soon. We have had a horror story experience & had to come over from the UK at a few days notice to sort things out. We were treated with kindnes & sympathy. (Lewis listened to my grumbles far beyond the call of duty). Our room & ensuite bathroom were clean & comfortble. Half way through our five day stay we had fresh towels delivered to the room. The breakfasts were on a continental theme & varied daily. Meals were brought to the table & we were always asked if we needed anything else. Moreover my wife had to continue working online & was offered use of the bar during the closed hours of the day. On checkout, again because Liz had to work, we were told to take as long as necesary, not to rush & leaving mid afternoon was fine without incurring extra chatges. Our stay represented excellent value for money. I have stayed at far costlier, higher end establishments & not been looked after nearly as well. Thanks Lewis; you made a stresfull visit far more pleasant than it would otherwise have been.

First time there on Sunday and all 5 in our party thoroughly enjoyed the food. The service from the Spanish waiter and British chef was excellent.
The only downside was the blonde-haired woman who was quite miserable and aggressive in her manner towards us. For example, no one told us how their food system operated. There was no visible signs or menu, so we just had to get up and help ourselves, taking the lead from two other customers. The woman would lean over the table and say "is that a starter?" at a plate of our food. Her attitude made us feel a bit uncomfortable and it would have helped if she had explained how this works when we sat down.
Apart from that it would have been 5 stars.
We will definitely come again as we know how it works now and try to get the attention of the Spanish waiter as he really was polite and courteous.

Staff was rude and unfriendly, they refused to make me a coffee with my own plant milk since they had no alternative to dairy, claiming "they don't know where my milk has been". I milked the oats in the morning and didn't wash my hands, duh. Ridiculous and this would never happen in a Spanish establishment as I have asked many times for coffee with my own milk and it was not an issue. And Spanish people are so much friendlier too.
