My wife and I spend a 3 day get away at the Iron Lion Inn. It was a very memorable experience. The house was full of amazing art, character and charm. The rooms each had their own unique feel and look. The hosts were very interactive and informative about the house and shared their story of who they were and their accomplishments. At the same time I felt like we could enjoy our alone time and privacy when we wanted. The bed was VERY comfortable. Would highly recommend this place.

My wife and I spent two nights at the Inn. It was a pleasure! Victoria was a wonderful hostess. She gave us a great recommendation for dinner at Avicolli’s down the street the first night we were there and informed us of the unique history of the Inn. She also told us about all of the original paintings throughout the place and took time to just have nice conversations with us. Our room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. Victoria is an interior decorator and it was obvious she gave each bedroom her own touch. Fayetteville is such a nice village and the Inn is in a perfect location to either walk through the village or drive anywhere one may want to go. It’s a short drive to Green Lakes State Park. We took the walk around the two lakes and it is highly recommended. If there is time for golf, try to book a time at the course. Clubs can be rented for not much cost (not the best clubs, but they work) and just enjoy the outing.

Our stay at the Iron Lion Inn was nothing short of delightful! The rooms were beautiful, the beds extremely comfortable, and the location was great for us to enjoy parents weekend with our daughter at Syracuse. The town is picturesque. Andre and Victoria help make the stay easy and comfortable.

If you are looking for a beautiful place that delights the senses, I recommend The Iron Lion Inn. I delighted in the creative decor, with original frescos and canvas art, the light, bright, colorful and clean interior and fresh, delicious, healthful food accompanied by music, with hosts that go above and beyond to make guests feel at home. Such excellent attention to detail! elegant toiletries, comfortable bed linens and towels, clear and gracious communication, glasses with dents to making them easy to hold, snacks. My stay exceeded my expectations.

We stayed here in July and it was such a pleasant surprise! I did book our stay based on the location being so close to Greenlake State Park and it’s affordability for a B and B. Even though I read the wonderful reviews I was pretty blown away with this B and B.
This home is an art gallery and a true display of superb interior design.

The bedroom we stayed in was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in while traveling.

This was the first B and B I’ve stayed in and had no issues with artificial scents. I’m scent sensitive which can escalate with the use of artificial scents and chemicals in laundry detergents, house hold cleaners, candles, plugins etc. I mentioned to Victoria how nice it was to not have to deal with all the usual fake smells. She told me she purposely did not use any artificial scents or chemicals.

Staying here truly was a breath of fresh air. We loved walking to the local coffee shop, dinner spots and cool thrift stores. This would be my top choice for B and B every time I’m in the area.

The Iron Lion was perfectly located for my visit to Central NY. Victoria was a friendly and attentive hostess. A lovely home, and the Sunday breakfast was delicious! From little touches like water and healthy snacks in the hallway to accomodating my celiac diet, she went out of her way to make our visit a pleasant one.

The Hosts are the most gracious, generous people I have ever met. I am so glad I chose to stay here instead of a cold uncaring hotel.
I feel like we became friends in my short stay with them. So easy and personable people they are. Such a great connection to have if I ever visit there again.

Now if google would let me do a million stars!! I would give them even more.

My stay at the Iron Lion was really wonderful. Everyone there was an absolute pleasure. The Inn itself was very charming and all the murals and paintings were amazing to look at. It felt like a home away from home, to me. There are fun little restaurants a half block away and uber/lyft services are always available with pretty short wait times (in my experience). I'd give the Iron Lion 6 stars if I could. I will absolutely stay at the Iron Lion again next time I find myself in the Syracuse area. Can't recommend it enough.
